Happy Birthday Adalynn June!

For those of you who can't get enough of Shannon and Deanna's fairy tale romance and beautiful pregnancy journey, the excitement lives on! They asked me to be in the delivery room and document Adalynn coming into the world, even though this was something I had never done before. The fact that they trusted me with such an important task was such an honor, and I have to admit, the experience was one of the coolest things I've done in my career as a photographer.

I arrived at 3:00pm on March 14th, after Deanna's doctor had started the process of inducing her labor. Between breaking her water and giving her an epidural, she had some pretty gruesome contractions. But dont worry, she was able to share a sweet slow dance with Shannon and also put makeup on. That's right, this woman put makeup on between contractions. She's a BADASS.

After the epidural, things slowed down a bit. We all hung out and slept until about 3:00am when Deanna was ready to start pushing, and she didn't have to do much pushing before little Adalynn was ready to grace us with her adorable presence!

After she was born and had some time with her Mommy, Adalynn was taken to get her weight and measurements and spend some time with her Momma. She was 6 lbs, 12 oz and 20 inches long. Such a cute little nugget!

I'm so grateful for this experience and to become the official photographer for the Snell family ;)
